Join us!

We meet on the third Wednesday of each month (second Wednesday in December.)
NOTE: We will begin meeting at a new location on May 20, 2026. View this page, Follow us on Facebook and join our email list to receive information about our new Southwest location. Contact us: swaarpchapter@fortworthaarp.com
Open to adults interested in social and volunteer activities with peers, retirement and retirement planning, health care services and related information. Join us at 10 a.m. to meet and greet. Monthly programs begin at 10:30 a.m. We ask that attendees at all events follow Covid-19 precautions suitable for their circumstances.
We also schedule free or low-cost Outings, usually in the Fort Worth-Dallas area to museums, restaurants and points of interest.
Monthly meetings are free. We ask that regular attendees pay $10 annual dues to pay for postage, communications, insurance and miscellaneous expenses. We also encourage attendees to join AARP ($15 annual dues) to be eligible for merchandise discounts, public policy information, life style tips and information relevant to older adults. More than 2.5 million Texans are members of AARP.
Join us at any meeting and/or download a membership form to mail or bring to a meeting. We look forward to meeting you.
Community Service

Our members volunteer with many community groups, and we regularly support school programs, social services and food banks. We encourage our members (and everyone) to register to vote and to participate in civic activities of their choice. We are non-partisan.
