Our Meetings

We meet in-person on the third Wednesday of each month (second Wednesday in December.)

Our meetings are free and open to adults interested in social and volunteer activities, retirement and retirement planning, health care services and related information. Join us at 10 a.m. to meet and greet. Programs begin at 10:30 a.m. We ask that attendees at all events follow Covid-19 precautions suitable for their circumstances.

We also schedule free or low-cost Outings, usually in the Fort Worth-Dallas area to museums, restaurants, entertainment and points of interest.

Follow us on Facebook, view this page and join our email list to receive information about our programs and social activities.

We meet in the community room of the Fort Worth Police Station, South Division, 3501 W. Risinger Road, Fort Worth 76123, at the intersection of McCart Avenue and Risinger Road. The meeting area has audio-visual services, kitchen and parking. The station is easily accessible from major north-south streets Summer Creek Drive, South Hulen Street and McCart Avenue, as well as I-35 and Chisholm Trail Parkway.

We encourage attendees to join the AARP national organization ($15 annual dues) to be eligible for merchandise discounts, public policy information, life style tips, volunteer activities and information relevant to older adults. More than 2.5 million Texans are members of AARP. We also ask that our regular attendees pay $10 annual chapter dues to pay for postage, communications, insurance and miscellaneous expenses.

Join us at any meeting and/or download a membership form to bring to a meeting. We look forward to meeting you.
